Create engaging graphics for various social media. Develop designs with critical analysis, that take into account all other marketing campaigns, and adhere to Mary Kay brand standards. Develop new and upcoming brand strategies centric to social and animated media.
Work with the Social Media managers on a month-to-month basis to assist in pinpointing needs for static and animated content for Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and YouTube. Research the specific industry brand aesthetic and layout design, and bring projects from sketch to production stages.
Engaged with team management to craft an elevated brand images by defining artistic specifications for both static and animated graphics. Used existing brand guidelines to create works for all social media platforms, including post images, informer videos, AR filters, and more.
Mary Kay's brand is bright, inviting, and playful. Their social imagery needed to fit this aesthetic. Color usage was sourced from Mary Kay's color palettes of pinks. Photography was handled by the in-house photography team, and together countless content was produced over the course of 2 years.
Utilizing After Effects and partnering with the photography, videography, content writing, social, and legal teams a plethora of motion graphic content was created. Using fast, quippy animations the design language for Mary Kay's motion work was carefully defined.
Using SparkAR, developed by Meta, Mary Kay was able to enter into the world of custom AR filters on social media in an affordable and effective manner. The AR filters were meant to boost interactive engagement with both the sales force and consumer audiences, to broaden brand reach.
